Tuesday May 30th, Volunteers from the CT Chapter of TACF, students from Housatonic Valley Regional High School, and employees of Great Mountain Forest Corporation descended on a site on Undermountain Road in Falls Village to plant our long planned northwest CT backcross orchard.

Rick's Gravatar I just read the article with great interest. For over 20 years I have been observing chestnut trees struggling to survive. I have some on my property that have grown to about four to six inches in diameter and produced chestnuts before they die.
